From the owner

Chaitanyam is a family home converted to home stay to suit all needs of couples or a large family or groups. It has 4 bedrooms with terrace and all basic furnishings you need to make your stay like your own home.

Since it is an independent house it does come with 2 car parks (hatchbacks) and open seating space at the house entrance.

Ground floor has 1 living room that has a 5 seater solid wood sofa and TV with the cable connection. Next to it is the dining room with 6 seater dining and a wash basin.

GD also has a double bedroom with ensuite and inbuilt wardrobes and has Air Conditioner (split) fitted in for your comfort on hot days.

It also has a fully equipped kitchen for day to day cooking and at your disposal you have mixer, grinder, microwave, hot water kettle, refrigerator , cooking utensils, gas stove with gas connection (LPG) and dinnerware. If you do need anything specific please request and it is in reach I can provide it. Ground floor has a separate utility area where the cleaning accessories are stored and has the water purifier as well as a Top load fully automatic washing machine for the use of guests. GD has an Indian style bathroom that can be used for workers / maids in the house or for washing your wellies in case you did enjoy the Kerela rains.

There is a little open area behind utility that serves as entrance to the cleaners or anyone but you can use it to dry the clothes in sun.

The stairs from dining room leads you upstairs where the lobby has cane chairs to relax and you can even use terrace which is covered fully and enjoy the morning coffee or evening tea. The lobby also has iron board with iron box , and a desktop computer that can be used by all guests and kids , if you want them engaged in a video game to get your 'me' time.

There are 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor of them one is a twin bed and two are double with ample space and one of the double bedroom has Air conditioner fitted. All bedrooms have good size ensuite. There is natural light in each bedrooms for enough ventilation.

White crisp Towels (bath and hand) and linens with duvet are provided for your use. You would need to get your toiletries. There is also a small toy box with some toys to keep a toddler engaged for sometime. You are more than welcome to provide us with constructive feedback and how to make it a better stay experience in future.

Since Chaintanyam is very close to two prominent malls in the city , it is an Uber friendly place and if Uber driver makes you wait , the taxi service is just behind the house so that you are never late. The nearest public transport is about 800 mts walk from the house. There are various restaurants that delivered all kinds of food at home and you will need to tell them to keep 'spice levels down' as you know Keralites like it hot. The malls (Oberon and Lulu) have all what you can ask for in terms of apparel, cuisines, grocery etc. There are enough McDonalds and KFC for kids to be relish on for their 'junk food' day.
