Stag Lodge is a superior 2 bedroom property and has recently been awarded the coveted Certificate of Excellence by Trip Advisor. It proudly sits opposite our 3 bedroom property Woodys Lodge. It's a spacious 2 bed property, with a bright and airy feel. Luxurious with the soft furnishings and additional luxury items making it the ideal place to relax and unwind. The secluded and private terrace complete with sunken hot tub is truly magnificent.

Based on a beautiful country park just outside of Morpeth making it the perfect base to explore the hidden gems of Northumberland.

It's also the perfect place for families who wish to book properties next to each other as we can accommodate up to 14 within both Stag Lodge & Woodys Lodge.

A complimentary free WiFi package is provided for guests.

All modern luxuries have been thought of, the property boasts a pod coffee machine, SKY TV, (including sports and movies), FREE Wi-Fi, board games for adults and children, books, bed linen, towels (one large bath towel and one small hand towel per person).

A nice welcome basket is provided.

Dog friendly property at no additional charge (maximum 2 unless smaller breeds - do enquire).

We provide a complimentary unlimited WiFi package (not for downloading or streaming). The location and occupancy levels of the park does sometimes mean the Internet access can be somewhat limited but the vast majority of guests have had no issues.

On site, we have the Crazy Horse Saloon Bar & Grill. It provides a varied menu consisting of the usual bar food and restaurant food you would normally find, they also offer a takeout service too! Highly recommend their pizzas!

For kids, there is a brand new games room on the basement level of the Crazy Horse Saloon, there are pool tables, air- hockey table, darts board and smaller activities for little children.

The outdoor Play Ground over at Bockenfield can be accessed via the foot bridge by the lake. There is a pirates ship and zip wire.

The Time Out Tavern which is located next to the Pirate Ship, also does food and has a small shop (sells essential items such as milk, cereal, toilet roll etc).

Both venues have a range of entertainment activities for kids during the holidays, they also have bingo nights and LIVE Music most weekends.

Next to the Park we are very lucky to have Northumberland Zoo on our doorstep as well as Eshott Airfield. Both are great for a visit and they both have a small cafe too for refreshments. Whether your into planes or animals, there's definitely a day trip to be planned!

Please note that we operate different breaks, so for e.g. we operate a Monday or Friday check in, mid week availability is based on a Mon - Fri (4 nights - same price as a weekend), Fri - Sun or Monday and a weekly price. This website cannot accommodate the differences in breaks, so please do ask for a quote.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Melanie (the owner) a message.

If Melanie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
