Description

The house offers flexible accommodation, sleeping up to five, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom has en suite facilities and there is a single bedroom (with small balcony overlooking the street} and a separate shower and toilet.

Across the court yard downstairs is a self contained second double bedroom also with en suite facilities. The

roof of this bedroom is a sun terrace (with fixed bamboo shade, table and chairs) which can be accessed by stone steps from the courtyard, or by a connecting walkway which leads to the master bedroom.

The house is ideally situated for those who like to be close to the beach and also for people who wish to explore the area more fully. With all the historical and cultural connections of southern Spain, we are close to Ronda and the White towns, Gibraltar, the Chorro gorge and Morocco all of which are a day trip journey away.The house is situated in a non touristy street and we ask that our guests respect this aspect in terms of quietness and interaction with our neighbours. . [We do not allow parties .]

In the kitchen the cupboards are of hand crafted wood and the work surface is local granite whilst original tiling remains on the walls.

There is a supply of bedding, throws, spare blankets and guest towels in the walk in cupboard in the master bedroom and spare beach towels in the front shower room.

The sun terrace has a fixed bamboo shade. There are two sun loungers plus a table and chairs.There are also wall lights should you wish to use the terrace in the evening.

There is also the ground floor shaded courtyard if the sun is very hot. The house is on a gentle hill on a cobbled street. There is no parking outside but if you hire a car, there is a large underground car park underneath the esplanade at the beach front.

There is a local supermarket and a daily produce market one minutes walk from the house. For night-life, there are many bars and restaurants down by the port where, on Sunday mornings there is a tourist market.

“Ideal location”

Churro house situated in the old town is an ideal location in Estepona. Close to all amenities cafes, restaurants and shops. Beach and bus stop are only a few mins walk, we got the bus to Marbella and Puerto Banus and for 3.27 euros was great value. The house has everything you need and the roof terrace is great for having a drink at night or just lazing during the day. The downstairs bedroom was great as my brother was with us and he could have his own privacy away from us if he wanted. Estepona is a beautiful place to stay and would highly recommend Churro house and the area if you are looking to experience real Spain.

“Amazing”

Just recently returned from spending two weeks in this beautiful authentic house right in the heart of Old Town Estepona. The location was ideal, close to the beach, shops, places of interest, bars and restaurants. The flower filled streets are just so beautiful and idyllic. Cathy has been so accommodating and responsive to all enquiries and has gone out of her way to ensure all my families needs were met. We arrived late at night and Cathy arranged with the local agent for all basic food items to be in the house on our arrival. The spacious house is very traditional with lots of lovely original features. The neighbours were very friendly and sociable, which was lovely. The choices of where to eat and drink is immense, ranging from lovely quaint little tapas bars to larger, busier modern restaurants. We never experienced a poor meal anywhere. I will definitely be looking to book again sometime soon.

“Lovely little town house”

Very pretty little street, lots of plant pots hanging from the houses. Great little supermarket three minutes walk up the hill, very large beach and promenade, loads of bars and restaurants, all within a five minute walk. Estepona is well geared up for the tourist trade, always feel safe there, not been in the peak times when it would be busier. The house is good for four or five folks, a sheltered sunny patio if the beach is windy and a shady area downstairs outside the lounge is good for lunch. Will be going back for sure.

“Idyllic Tradional Spanish House Full of Charm”

What a fabulous holiday home, full of charm, location is perfect, only about a 4-5 minute stroll to the fabulous beaches and beach bars. Taps bars all within 2 minute stroll, The house is well stocked with all you need. ( the only pont my partner made was not being able to watch local televison.) Thank you for a great holiday, looking for forward to the next one we have booked.

“The real Spain!”

We stayed for three weeks in this lovely, typically Spanish town house. It is very well equipped and most comfortable. We were joined by our friends for the last week and had a wonderful holiday. We were very lucky with the weather and spent many hours sitting in one of the two outdoor areas. Estepona is full of tapas bars and we couldn't believe how cheap they were. We celebrated our friend's birthday out there and he took us to Robbies. What an amazing restaurant! If you like OTT decoration (as we do) this is the place for you. Great ambience and superb cooking. We cannot thank the owner of 23 Calle Chorro enough. She was so very kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. This is a must go place.

“23 Calle del Chorro: Charming old town house in Estepona”

The cold summer in Norway makes us long for Estepona, the wonderful place with blue skies, a long beach and a charming old town. We were lucky enough to stay there for ten days last May, in a lovely old townhouse at 23 Calle del Chorro. We can't recommend this house enough; it's very charming, contains everything you need and a rooster wakes you up in the morning. And Cathy, the hostess, is so helpful and kind! She even made sure to send us the bus routes before we arrived. We can't wait to be back one day! Liv & Terje

“Wonderful location”

We stayed at Chorro for 12 nights at the beginning of June 2012. The townhouse was very clean, comfortable and on a lovely quiet street - a real home from home. The location was just perfect, so close to the many bars and restaurants. The beach is also only a few minutes stroll away.

“WE WILL BE BACK!!!”

I spent two weeks in October in this wonderful house. In the old town of Estepona yet only four or five minutes walk to the beach, supermarkets and bus station. The house is charming and so well equipped you only need to turn up with a change of clothes and your toothbrush!! The upper sun terrace is great for afternoon sunbathing or if you have had enough the lower courtyard is cool and shady for reading. The beds are really comfy and the bedrooms cool,although there are heaters available there so if I feel like going back in winter time I won't be cold! Marbella,Puerto Banus,Gibraltar etc are all within easy access from the nearby bus station so there isn't really any need to hire a car. For me the charm was the house it's self, it has a very Spanish feel with lots of original features and I felt so at home that I cooked regularly and felt like it was home from home. I would recommend it to anybody and everybody and I will DEFINiTELY be back!! It is also extremely good value for money and flights to Malaga are also pretty cheap!

We stayed at 23 Cale Chorro Esteponia for 1 month in Sept 2011. The location was ideal, set in the winding cobbles streets of the old town,and just 5 minutes from the beautiful sandy beach and pedestrian only shopping streets. The house was delightful, with plenty of space, lots of light and fully equipped for ALL our needs. We loved the courtyard area where we spent many a warm evening under the stars entertaining and sipping on fine Rioja. The sun terrace too, was a big bonus for those lazy days reading and soaking up the rays. The house has 3 comfortable bedrooms/bathrooms where we all slept well and often a little too late into the morning. Esteponia is a lovely little Spanish town with a beautiful main square, and a maze of flower scented streets.There are numerous tapas bars and restaurants that spill out onto the narrow traffic free streets, and it should be said, that the local people are amongst the friendliest I have encountered. The local bus service is cheap and reliable, and we were able to visit the wonderful mountain towns of Ronda and Casares,and along the coast to Marbella, Puerto Banus, and Gibraltar. without difficulty. We have already booked again for next year as we had such a wonderful holiday.
