From the owner

Situated in the river Vienne valley we have our two bedroom Gite available, which can sleep up to 4 people. It is registered as 3* with the local tourist Office.

The private garden has views towards the village and the river with a patio, loungers, soft garden furniture, table and chairs, and a barbeque. There is your very own plunge pool in the garden to help you cool off on those hot summer days, or just relax on the sun deck.

The Gite has the following features:-

1 double bedroom, King size bed, opening onto the balcony with river views.

1 bedroom with two single beds.

Mulberry silk filled Duvets and Toppers are provided for that extra bit of luxury.

Deluxe Shower room with toilet.

Open plan living area including fully fitted kitchen.

Private entrance, patio area, sun deck and garden.

WiFi, DVD and Blue tooth speaker.

Flat screen television, with Freesat channels.

Off road parking

You can relax in the garden or take a stroll on the river bank. Perhaps you would like to enjoy breakfast on the balcony? Watching the river flow past (it's very addictive).

The village is a short walk away (200m) across the bridge, and offers a baker, a bar/restaurant, a Bistro, a small shop stocking most essentials and a chemist (although we hope you won't need one)

The wildlife in the area is stunning with Kingfishers and Dippers on the river and Buzzards and Eagles in the skies. If you are here at the right times you can see the migration of the European cranes. There are owls in the woods at the back of the house as well as nightingales.

The Office de Tourism requires that we collect a Tax per Adult per night. This will be collected in cash on your arrival.

Why can't I call Dave (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Dave (the owner) a message.

If Dave (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
