Based in South-West France, in the Dordogne, these charming country cottage can welcome 2 to 8 people.

Spring, Summer or Autumn holidays ... Winter break or long Winter let ... « Lauzanac », with its 2 self catering cottages and its 2 secure private pools (and no visavis) is set in South West France and is open all year round.

« Lauzanac » is situated in the Dordogne area at 3 kms from the famous medieval village of EYMET, 20 km from Bergerac and its airport, 100 km from Bordeaux and its airport.

Les Chênes Cottage: luxury self catering cottage with a private and secure pool and no visavis is in the countryside of the medieval village of Eymet near Bergerac. Very comfortable, cosy and spacious. We can welcome 2 to 8 people with 3 bedrooms with en-suite.

Description: At the entrance, a large space with a long wood table, the lounge with a huge fireplace, the kitchen well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven ..., a desk with a Wifi connexion.

At the first floor, 3 bedrooms with en-suite (bathroom and shower rooms with toilets). A second lounge with the TV, a dvd player and the satellite for the international channels.

For the outside, a first garden with a covered terrace and the bbq. A second garden with a large green space and the secure private pool with a pool-house where is a ping pong table.

The farm nearby: we have pets that your kids can feed at anytime: rabbits, pig, sheep, goats, horse and donkeys. For the lovers of the nature or the fishermen, the river Dropt is just down the lane and there is also a reservoir at 1 km with a path around for walking afternoons or an ornithological trail at 2 km.

Eymet is a lovely bastide with its typical arcades on the square. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Famous market each Thursday morning since 1270 or night markets twice a week during Summer.

Eymet is not far from the famous villages and towns like Bergerac (and its airport), Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Lascaux, Rocamadour, Bordeaux or St Emilion ... the castles : Monbazillac, Biron, Lanquais, Castelnaud ... the medieval villages : Issigeac, Monpazier, Monflanquin, Villeréal ... the food : foie gras, confit, magret, cèpe or truffes ... the good wine : St Emilion, Bordeaux, Médoc, Monbazillac, Duras, Bergerac or Pécharmant.

Prices are in Euros. From €620 to €1540 per week depending on the season. Changeover day are on Saturday (or Thursday for the other cottage) during Summer time and any other day the rest of the year.

Special long Winter let's price between September and June (monthly rental). with Wifi and satellite tv (internationnal channels). Isabelle (English spoken) and Thierry are French and are on hand to offer any assistance if require (estates agencies, tourism in the area, schools, French and English associations, life in France …).

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Isabelle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
