"El Pósito" stands out for its beauty and size. This old stately cellar housed in the past the surplus cereal grains which were distributed in times of famine. This practice dates back to the sixteenth century. Currently, the house has been restored for tourist accommodation without substracting its authenticity. It is distributed in two floors, being the living room and the kitchen a common space, keeping this way the rustic look but with a more modern practicality.
The walls are white, empty, simply whitewashed, so the dark woodwork of the windows and the big wooden front door together with the floors and ceilings compose a set of sharp two-tone contrast. On the upper floor there is also a large lounge, very comfortable, simple and attractive, where antique furniture blends harmoniously with the functionality of the room. On the lower floor there are two large double bedrooms with extra big beds and with bathrooms; both have direct access to the garden surrounding the house.
Casa El Pósito has a pool for private use (6m x3 m) and with a depth change between 1.2m and 1.60m.
It has also a tennis court for free.
The country house is distributed in two floors and has:
* 1 Double room with double bed
* 1 Double room with twin beds
* 1 Bathroom with shower
* 1 Bathroom
* Fully equipped kitchen-lounge area with microwave, coffee maker, washing machine and dishwasher
* Living room with fireplace, Satellite TV and WIFI
The house has excellent views both to the mountains that divide the island and to the vast Atlantic Ocean. In clear days it is possible to see the Teide on the nearby island of Tenerife. The stillness of the landscape invites to go on walks, between gardens and vineyards, but also to rest, to sunbathe on the patio or just to enjoy pleasurable outdoor meals at the barbecue.
