Majorcan Country Finca with Private Pool in Son Mesquida !

Typical Mallorcan country finca with special charm, a large pool and many terraces which is located only a few minutes from the town of Felanitx and the village Son Mesquida. The property is situated in absolutely tranquil surroundings and offers 4 double bedrooms, each one with 2 single beds and 4 bathrooms for up to 8 guests. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped and the open lounge/dining area is very bright and spacious with a high ceiling, decorated with wooden beams which provides this finca with a warm and traditional atmosphere. Stairs in the lounge lead up to a first floor open space, under the roof, overlooking the living area which can be used for yoga or meditation. Outside the garden is decorated with olive trees and Mediterranean plants and here you will meet the 3 friendly resident cats basking in the sun. There's a shaded terrace with dining table, garden chairs and a brick-built barbecue for meals together in open air plus a beautiful mosaic tiled pool with roman steps that's equipped with comfortable sun loungers for all guests. This finca is ideal for a group of cat-friendly friends or families with children.

Felanitx enjoys a relaxed atmosphere where you can simply stroll around and enjoy the golden stone buildings and hidden squares and the Sunday market is definitely worth a visit. Once you have explored the town you could visit some of the surrounding vineyards as it is Mallorca's second wine-producing area, set in lovely countryside and close by you also have the Sanctuary Sant Salvador and Castle Santuari, both of which are perched on top of hills and have wonderful views of Mallorca and the sea. The nearest harbour village is Porto Colom, one of the largest natural harbours of the island and delightful with its Spanish flair, there´s some good restaurants and tapas bars by the waterfront or you can explore the beautiful pine forest hills and browse the quaint streets for pretty souvenirs. You´ll also find many activities here and it is the ideal starting point for a recreational boat trip along the beautiful coast. Also at this side of the island, there´s many beautiful sandy coves with crystal clear water to discover, like the virgin beach of Cala Sanau with Bamboo sun loungers and beach bar, or Cala Mondrago, located in the natural park and there´s several more sandy coves in Cala Murada. The most beautiful beach of Mallorca, Es Trenc, a stretched white sandy beach located in the South is only 30 minutes by car and there are more beaches worth a visit in the same area, like Sa Rapita and Ses Covetes. In Porto Cristo you can visit the famous caves of Drach (Cuevas del Drach).

Sports & Activities

Golf lovers will find several golf courses in the area; at 20 km, the famous Vall d´Or Golf Course (18 holes), at 30 km, the Mallorca Marriott Son Antem Golf Resort and Spa by Llucmajor and in Son Servera at 37 km, the Real Pula Golf (18 holes).

There are many hiking trails in the area, and cyclists can enjoy countryside lanes, coastal routes and more hilly challenges. There is a yacht club in Portocolom and here you can engage in sailing, diving and sea fishing.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
