About The Shell Seekers Retreat: We love beachcombing, and find this location very peaceful - and thus the name "The Shell Seekers Retreat" was born! The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, a spacious double closet, large dresser, and direct access to the bathroom. The second bedroom contains a full bed, with a smaller dresser and a large closet. Bathroom access is directly across the hall. With a microwave, countertop oven, coffee maker, pots, pans and dishes - we hope the kitchen has everything that you need. Laundry is available on the main level. Our home has Xfinity Blast high speed internet service and 100+ cable channels with Showtime. You can also use your Roku, Netflix or Hulu logins to watch your favorite shows on the 46 inch Smart TV.

About the location: Forest Ridge Village is a very peaceful neighborhood with a pool, tennis courts and a lot green space. It's also just a short walk to 13 miles of white sandy beach. Amelia Island offers plenty of opportunities for bicycling, birdwatching, golf and fishing. The Egan's Creek Waterway is also a great place for a walk - we often see turtles, herons and alligators. At Fort Clinch State Park, you can step back into 1864 as soldiers reenact life during the Civil War. Fort Clinch also offers a six-mile multi-use trail, and 3 miles of shoreline - great for shelling and shark tooth hunting! Historic downtown Fernandina has Victorian-era architecture, a multitude of shops and every kind of restaurant that you can imagine. Enjoy some local shrimp, go on a river cruise, or just stroll with an ice cream cone and enjoy island life!

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean and the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely be back. This was our first time to Amelia Island.

Why can't I call Tony & Peggy (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Tony & Peggy (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tony & Peggy (the owner) a message.

If Tony & Peggy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
