From the owner

Sea View Mews just south of Filey, is a semi-detached cottage, quietly situated in a rural, coastal village away from the busy coastal road between Bridlington and Filey. The house is surrounded by a field on three sides and it is a fair distance back from the main village road at the front. What makes the property very special are the uninterrupted sea views at the back. The living room has a magnificent view of Filey Bay over the fields. The kitchen also has a sea view over the back garden and the bedrooms have lovely rural views.

The living room is spacious and has two leather, 3 seater sofas, a bench and a wicker chair with three small chairs for children. There is a 40 inch smart tv which has complementary Netflix and this is located on a cabinet containing plenty of board games. The large master bedroom and smaller twin room (which has single beds that can to made into a superking bed) are both off the living room and the shower room is in between the bedrooms.

The shower room has a, toilet, basin, wooden floor and an electric mira shower.

Sea View Mews has a porch and hall leading to the kitchen and games room. The games room has a full size table tennis table, half size snooker/pool table and table football. This room also doubles as a utility area with a washing machine and drier, ironing board and iron. The games room also stores body boards, a sledge, croquet and boule sets to be used by the guests as well as a bbq. If guests bring bicycles they can be stored safely in the games room.

The kitchen has a dining table and four chairs, a double electric oven, microwave and fridge with a small freezer compartment (there is a spare fridge in the games room), kettle, toaster, radio, double bin for recycling, weighing scales and cookery books!

Outside is off road parking for upto two cars, a small lawn for croquet or boule and a private patio with garden furniture and pot plants. The village hall is a short walk away and this has an excellent play area for small children see photo. Reighton Sands beach is within walking distance (20 minutes) down the lane and across a field. However, it is a steep final descent to the beach!

Amazing sea views

Why can't I call Zoe (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Zoe (the owner) a message.

If Zoe (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
