This Lovely Cottage sleeps 4 and is located on Yorkshire Coast and provides luxury accommodation, located just outside the little seaside town of Filey close to Scarborough. It is within walking distance of Filey's 7 miles of golden sands..making it a destination year after year for seaside-loving families.Great location to explore the Yorkshire coast, Bempton Bird Santuary and Dalby Forest.
Mill Farm is surrounded on 3 sides by fields yet is on the boundary of Filey for easy access to the town and its beach.
The cottage was developed from the 'Old Hay Barn' and still retains many of its original features including vaulted beamed ceilings upstairs.
On the other side of the road stands the remains of Muston Windmill, which was a working windmill for the surrounding area many years ago; and now the field it stands houses the Beach Donkeys in the summer months.
There is a little patio area out to the front of the cottage, accessed from a door off the lounge area which has an outside table for 'al fresco dining and there is a grassed area to the side of the cottage for the use of this cottage only with another table and chairs. Lovely for children to play on. There is also plenty of parking for up to two cars per cottage and parking is next to the cottage so no long distances to walk to the cottage. The parking proves popular in summer as parking in the centre of Filey can be hard to find in summer and being able to pull up outside the cottage after a long day is a great bonus.
The cottage has the benefit of free wi-fi for residents at no extra charge.(this does occasionally go down and should not be relied upon)
