Newly remodeled in 2014, (shower surround in 2019), this two level 1300 + square foot Rustic Cabin located in the community of Mountainaire now ready for nightly rentals. Only a two hour drive from Mesa, Tempe or Chandler. Less than that if you are further west or in Phoenix.The Cozy Rustic Cabin is located about 1 mile east of the I 17 freeway near the national forest area. The cabin is only about 8 minutes drive time from downtown Flagstaff. A trip to the Grand Canyon is only 90 miles away and Sedona (Voted one of the most beautiful destinations in all the US) is a quick 45 minute trip south down the I17 freeway. Both destinations are doable as day trips from the cabin. What is unique about the cabin is even though it is located "in the woods" you are still in close proximity to all the modern conveniences you might need.The cabin itself is an A Frame two level cabin with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom located downstairs. A spiral staircase leads up to a very large loft area that has a "full sized" bed sleeping quarters and another additional level that has a twin bed.The unit has ceiling fans in both bedrooms and one in the loft. There is full sized washer and dryer downstairs as well. The kitchen comes with a coffee maker, toaster, full sized fridge, microwave oven and gas stove. There is a TV with DISH network (basic cable--55 stations) in the living room, WIFI for internet access and a DVD player and VHS player. There are also plenty of extra linens and bath towels. The focal point downstairs is a large rustic wood burning fireplace. There is also a gas heat furnace in the cabin if that is more your style. There is also a large deck on the front of the cabin that has a propane grill and a two person swing if you just want to spend a little lazy time relaxing and taking in the pine trees and the mountain breeze. Updates included but not limited to: new paint inside and out new stainless gas stove and microwave oven new carpet, tile and wood flooring throughout new beds and bedding new horizontal blinds new ceiling fans brand new leather couches in the living room.

Great spot 15 minutes from old town.

Very nice and cozy; nice location too. Wi-Fi would be nice but Verizon data service worked fine. Could use some better light on the front. Otherwise, perfect.

Why can't I call Michael (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Michael (the owner) a message.

If Michael (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
