From the manager

A pretty 2 bedroom traditional fisherman's cottage in the heart of Flushing village loving renovated to sleep up to 4 guests. A wood burner and an attractive garden make this a real home from home.

One of a row of pretty cottages, Fish Hoek is a traditional property which the owners have taken enormous care to upgrade to a very high standard. It offers comfortable accommodation for up to four people in two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Luxuries include new bedroom furniture and bedding, TV, DVD player, all of which make this the perfect base base for a relaxing break.

The inviting sitting room has plenty of comfortable seating while the wood burning stove provides a cosy glow and warmth on chilly evenings. The complimentary WiFi allows you to keep in touch with life outside the village.

The charming kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, hob with extractor and microwave oven. The dining table and chairs here makes this a sociable space.

The first floor master bedroom with double bed and wardrobe looks out over the pretty street , while the second bedroom with twin single beds has a view of the garden.

The family bathroom has a distinctly nautical feel in keeping with its surroundings, with white tongue and groove walls, a bath with shower, W.C. and basin.

Even during the height of summer, Flushing provides a sense of peace and tranquility. With 2 friendly pubs, an excellent seafood restaurant, and a well-stocked shop, many of our guests choose to leave the car behind and enjoy a more traditional holiday – entertaining the kids crabbing, enjoying relaxed lunches by the water, and taking in the sea air on beautiful walks around the Fal River.

A passenger ferry operates regularly over to Falmouth with its Maritime Museum, restaurants and independent shops and galleries. This also links up with other boats sailing to nearby St Mawes and the Helford River.
