Orchard Barn offers the perfect romantic retreat for a couple. It is also increasingly enjoyed by guests able to work from a unique environment. Guests can now enjoy exclusive use of a newly constructed Spa Barn which includes a spacious hot tub and sauna. Set in beautiful grounds in countryside between the New Forest National Park and Cranborne Chase, Orchard Barn is a detached, spacious, open plan, oak framed barn, set in a large garden with pretty woodlands and natural ponds.

The Barn has a stunning double height oak beamed ceiling - giving a truly romantic and spacious feel. A range of lighting adds to the atmosphere. Most amenities are available, including: oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition there is a newly built utility room providing a washing machine, tumble dryer and storage for bikes, paddle boards, wetsuits etc...

New for Autumn 2022 is the Spa Barn, adjacent to Orchard Barn and including both a large 5 seater hot tub and sauna. The barn has large bifold doors allowing you to enjoy the fresh air, the Spa Barn is yours exclusively to enjoy during your stay. Bath robes and additional towels are provided, as are Crocs to wear as you walk - it is only about 15 metres! The Spa Barn also has a Bluetooth system so you can stream music from your phone.

Fresh milk, tea, coffee and cake await your arrival at Orchard Barn.

The dining and living area comprises a large table and chairs, a comfy sofa and armchairs, a large coffee table, TV, Sky Q and fibre internet/wifi. The property also features a king size bed with luxurious Beaumont & Brown white linen, shower room (with power shower and a range of luxury toiletries), travel cot, hair dryer and ironing facilities. Bath towels and towels for use in the Spa Barn are also provided.

Orchard Barn has French windows leading to an outside area, surrounded by pretty flowers and includes a table and chairs with parasol and a chiminea set with logs. New Forest walking and cycling books are available, together with an extensive local area information guide. A range of family games are provided. The Barn has its own wicker basket picnic set available for guests' use. Adult guests are also welcome to use an outdoor table tennis table by prior arrangement, bats and balls can be supplied.

Orchard Barn is 1 mile from the village shop, 1.5 miles from our local pub (with excellent food), borders the beautiful New Forest (3.5 miles) and is approximately a 40 minute drive from the stunning sea/beaches at Bournemouth. A footpath and bridleway start about 100 metres from our driveway and give access to miles of countryside walks. You can also reach Fordingbridge along the footpath and the local pubs, shops and restaurants are about a 25 minute walk in each direction. Ample secure parking is available at the property, which can accommodate car trailers, RIBs etc... Please inform me if you would like to bring a trailer or an oversized vehicle.

At Orchard Barn guests can enjoy a truly beautiful barn conversion together with the new Spa Barn facilities. The grounds are stunning with a rural feel. We like our guests to have the service that suits them. If guests would like us to be around we are happy to advise on places to go and give recommendations of places to eat out. We are also happy to leave guests to have a completely private holiday (an information pack is available in the Barn). Guests are given keys to the property and you are welcome to come and go as you wish.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Chris (the owner) a message.

If Chris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
