Loriais, Farmhouse and Gite,situated in Brittany on the borders of Pays de la Loire and Normandy. An ideal base to explore the beautiful countryside, beaches, chateaux ,forests and megaliths of this extra special part of France. Tranquil farmhouse gite lovingly restored, set in 20 acres with extensive access to glorious countryside, two bedrooms two bathrooms with additional double sofa bed. and folding bed, for children. Cot and high chair available. Log burner and underfloor heating making a cosy time in winter (by arrangement). Private heated salt water pool 10m x 5m with beach hut and barbeque. Several seating areas in lovely gardens. Cycling on designated tracks. Glorious walking on signed routes straight out of the door. Fully equipped kitchen, range cooker, also electric cooker and hob plus microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, American style fridge freezer. Well stocked supermarket five minutes away with other large supermarkets fifteen minutes away. Other attractions. water park , riding, walking and cycling. Mont St Michel 40 mins, St Malo one hour, Honfleur and Deauville two hours. Normandy beaches and fabulous coastline of the Cote d'emeraude easily accessed. Five minutes from the Foret de Fougéres and arboritum, five minutes from the medieval forest of Monthault. Weekly local farmers markets with a good selection of local produce during August, big traditional French market every Wednesday all year round 15 mins away. Please note bookings are from Saturday to Saturday

Why can't I call Barry (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Barry (the owner) a message.

If Barry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
