Set close to the banks of the beautiful river Fowey, this delightfully bright and spacious cottage ‘Topsides’ is set in an elevated position to allow you to admire the picture perfect views of the estuary and out to sea. The charmingly maintained garden offers a collection of tranquil and alluring areas to eat drink and be merry. The vibrant harbour town is a stroll away, with the sandy beach at Readymoney Cove an amble along The Esplanade. This is a peaceful escape, but within the captivating harbour town with all of its waterside activities, restaurants and shops. Guests can take river trips to various areas of the river Fowey and admire the superb scenery, which is where Kenneth Graham was inspired to write his wonderful ‘Wind in the Willows’.

Family shower room with WC and wash hand basin. Further Double bedroom with King size 5ft double bed with double aspect views and en suite bathroom, with shower over bath, WC and wash hand basin.

Outside:

The sunny level garden wraps around the house, it has several garden tables and chairs in different locations plus a decked terrace which has a picnic table and 6 chairs with lovely views over the Fowey estuary and across to Polruan.

Parking:

No private parking space, but street parking when available. You can pull in at the bottom of the property to unload, then park on street or in Fowey public car park at the top of the town, where local charges in coin meters apply.

*Local Facilities; Eden Project 6.5 miles. Polruan by foot ferry 9 mins.(ferry one minute walk). Charlestown (tall ships harbour) 7 miles away. Menabilly and Polkerris beach (Daphne du Maurier area) 4 miles. Readymoney Cove and the Cornwall Costal Path 7 mins.
