A bonita e tranquila Casa da Foz está situada na charmosa vila da Foz do Arelho, situada apenas a cerca de 50 minutos de Lisboa, alberga comodamente 8 pessoas na casa principal, podendo, no entanto, acomodar 12 a 14 com recurso a sofás-cama, ou com a abertura de um pequeno apartamento que faz parte da propriedade, caso o número de pessoas o justificar.

A casa está muito próxima da fantástica praia de mar e a de lagoa bem como de restaurantes e bares com esplanadas. Em cerca de 10 minutos a pé está na praia e em 2 minutos está no centro de vila onde pode encontrar supermercados, padaria, talho, farmácia, papelaria, banco e caixa multibanco.

A Histórica e medieval vila de Óbidos fica a 12 kms da Foz do Arelho. Aqui não deixe de visitar o seu castelo medieval e passear pelas ruas e ruelas pitorescas. É um local a visitar particularmente para participar no festival do chocolate, na feira medieval, ou no Natal da vila. A Cidade termal das Caldas da Rainha, famosa pela sua cerâmica artesanal, pela fabulosa praça da fruta e pelo seu parque, fica apenas a 8km da Foz do Arelho. Para quem procura praticar golfe, a partir da Foz do Arelho tem a Praia D'el Rey golf club que fica 30 km de distância. Do Aeroporto de Lisboa à casa fica aproximadamente a 1 hora, na direção Norte (A8 ou A1)

- Costa/Praia

A lagoa de Óbidos e a praia de mar fica a 10 minutos a pé e 3 mins de carro. Existem muitas outras praias bonitas ao longo da costa (São Martinho, Nazaré, Peniche…) que ficam entre 10 e 30 mins de distância por carro.

Com Lagoa de Óbidos sempre à vista e apenas a poucos minutos a pé, a lagoa é um lugar maravilhoso e seguro para as famílias, os amigos e as crianças se divertirem, com grandes extensões de areia e tomar banho em águas pouco profundas. A lagoa é também um magnífico habitat natural para todos os tipos de animais selvagens e é apreciado por observadores de pássaros, pescadores, marinheiros, caminhantes e ciclistas. A aberta faz a ligação da lagoa com o Oceano Atlântico. Grandes extensões de areia, cafés, restaurantes e bares, tudo apenas a 10 minutos a pé.

Há 2 campos de golfe topo de gama que estão a cerca de 20 minutos de carro da vila . A primeira é a mundialmente famosa Praia d' el Rey, que está situado ao longo da costa . O outro campo de golfe é de um padrão muito elevado, chamado Golden Eagle, situado mais para o interior, perto de Rio Maior.

Aeroporto de Lisboa 50 minutos, 80 km. Porto 3 horas. Faro 4 horas. Melhores vôos disponíveis diretamente da BA, também a TAP , Monarch e Easyjet . Os preços variam, mas são muito razoáveis se reservado cedo.

Caldas da Rainha 10 minutos. São Martinho 10 minutos, Nazaré 25mins. Lisboa, uma cidade cultural maravilhoso deve ser explorado, a 50 minutos de carro. Baleal cidade soberba praia, a 25 minutos de distância. Peniche, encantadora cidade piscatória, a 30 minutos de carro, com muito bons restaurantes de peixe e passeios de um dia para as ilhas Berlengas. Óbidos, única cidade murada castelo, um local Unesco patrimônio mundial de especial interesse, deve visitar, a 15 minutos de carro. Caldas da Rainha, 10 minutos.

Foz do centro da vila, a 2 minutos a pé, com uma estação de correios, banco, médico padeiro, açougueiro, 2 pequenos mini-mercados e uma variedade de restaurantes e bares. Caldas da Rainha, uma fabulosa cidade do mercado de cerâmica, de ir cedo para frutas e legumes frescos do mercado centro da cidade, de segunda a sábado, apenas pela manhã. Caldas é um grande shopping da cidade com 4 hipermercados e muitas lojas de moda para aqueles presentes especiais.

Foz do Arelho é realmente ideal para todos e tem atrações e atividades durante todo o ano. Golf, peixe, caminhada, surf, canoagem, vela, windsurf, passeio a cavalo, de bicicleta e muito mais, você pode até relaxar, não fazer nada, descansar ao sol. Esta área de Portugal tem excelentes restaurantes de todos os tipos e padrões. Produtos locais e bons vinhos locais, são fáceis de comprar, olhar para os vinhos produzidos em torno da lagoa.
