The main house rules are no smoking except outside on the parking deck, observance of strict safety using the fireplace, keeping pets OFF the furniture, no loud partying or loud activity outside the home or underage drinking. Pet owners must pick up after their pets when walking. We reserve the right to withhold from the security deposit for infractions of the house rules.

Jacquie, so glad you enjoyed our mountain getaway! It truly is heaven with views that never disappoint! Winter is lady bug season in Western North Carolina and the cute little guys try to stay warm the best they can. We called the satellite internet provider to find out that the data allowance had been exceeded by previous guest so the speed was throttled down. We just bumped up the allowance to prevent any future issues. One of the reasons we love the home is that it provides a secluded escape for those in need of it! We do not think you can find a better balance of comfort and wilderness/views anywhere! Thanks for being a great guest! Lorin M. Owner

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
