Description

Ivythorpe Coach House is a luxury property that sits at the centre of the enchanting village of Freshford, 5 miles from the world heritage city of Bath in Somerset. Be in Bath in 10 minutes, by train or car!

It sleeps 4+2: one double bedroom, one twin bedroom (can be made up as double) and a fully sprung double sofa bed. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with shower. The newly converted listed 18th century Coach House is in the grounds of Ivythorpe House, itself a grade 2* historic country house, mentioned in Pevsner's 'Buildings of England'. The Coach House overlooks St. Peter's Church, and has an idyllic and uninterrupted view across the valley. The village lies at the confluence of the rivers Frome and Avon, and has wonderful views and walks across woods and valleys on the edge of the Cotswolds.

A 'boutique' home, Ivythorpe Coach House provides the highest level of amenities, comfort and style, including Cowshed products from the nearby Babington House, underfloor heating, and floor to ceiling glass doors to the garden.

“Fantastic Stay”

A lovely three day stay in the coach house. Comfortable, spotless and cozy accomadation in the most beautiful village. Really quiet and relaxing spot but so close to Bath and all it has to offer. Great welcome pack with high quality items, hand written note all made us feel welcome. Well equipped kitchen and nice to have Netflix available.

Lovely house, stylish, yet cosy, well kept and equipped with all necessary things. We appreciated the two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Perfect for four. Warmly welcomed by the owner. The fotos give a good impression of the place. German native writing, excuse my clumsy style... Charmantes, ehemaliges Kutschenhaus, "stylish" und gemütlich eingerichtet, gepflegt und mit allem Wichtigem ausgestattet. Die Fotos geben gut den Charakter des Häuschens wieder. 2 Schlafzimmer mit anschließenden Bädern ideal für uns und unsere 2 Teenager. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Vermieter.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Selina (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
