Sunny and peaceful location with direct access to the beach.

The apartment is situated in Funchal, at Formosa beach, with an amazing view over the Atlantic Ocean and direct access to the beach and surrounded by gardens. To profit the mild climate of Madeira island, you can enjoy the sun and the sea view relaxing at the sun chairs at the apartment terrace or choose to take a swim in the swimming pool or in the sea.

Getting around

Just nearby you have coffee shops and restaurants with esplanades by the sea. Just in front of the apartment you have the Formosa beach and from here you can walk to Lido area (with natural swimming pools and a walking path along the sea with more coffee shops and restaurants along the way) or, to the other side, you can walk until Câmara de Lobos, a fishermen village (good to eat fresh fish) just 2,2 Km far along the beach. The city centre is only 10 minutes by car from the apartment and about 15 minutes by bus (there is a bus stop just on the upper road - the main road called "Estrada Monumental" - where the bus stop is situated). There is a new bus passing by each 15 minutes.

It is my pleasure give you the best tips about what to do and where to go, in order you can have the best holidays as possible. If you would like to explore Madeira island and if you are looking for a informal, cultural, relaxed and real way to explore this island paradise... for me the best choice is doing it with my husband Miguel, in his UMM open classic jeep (convertible)... 27 years old… so no air conditioned, automatic windows or doors (nothing automatic!)… and its noisy but loads of fun, trough the old paths!

“Stunning Views”

A lovely Comfortable apartment - spacious for 6 of us. Amazing New Year breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea. Pleasant easy walks to central Funchal and Camara de Lobos. Nyara is delightful and couldn't be more helpful. There's more to do in Madeira, we'll be back.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
