The rural houses Camino del Castano are located at the western of Sierra Morena, in the heart of the Nature Reserve of Aracena and Picos de Aroche. Camino del Castaño is created to fulfil a wish: to live in a healthy environment and have the opportunity of sharing this with people who love beauty, nature and welfare.

It is a complex consisting of two rental houses and one multidisciplinary room (65m2). A four rooms holidays villages in a peaceful rural 8.5Ha property, in the heart of Andalucía. One house is Chantarela; it has three doubles rooms -1.80 * 2.00m beds size-, and a simple room with a bed of 1.35 * 2.00m size, all very comfortable, wood floor and ceilings, and three bathrooms. The other house is Gurumelo with four double rooms queen size bed, and four bathrooms. Both cottages have heating in all rooms, living room with fireplace and BBQ, dinning room and kitchen with dishwasher, oven , 8 burners, kitchenware and battery. Outdoor BBQ. Our houses are listed by the Andalusian Tourism Register as Superior Holidays villages category (ref. no. CR/HU/0212- 0213)

You can also enjoy a beautiful pool of spring water, which produces debugging with gravel and plants. It is what they call a naturalised pool. Do not use bleach! To get to the pool you have to cross a beautiful organic orchard.

The local market town is Galaroza about 1 km away, where all the normal necessities of life can be obtained in abundance, including fresh fish, meat and vegetables. Also, in Aracena there is an excellent emergency medical service,about 12 kms away. We can offer you extra services as pick you up from airport, facilities for rent a car.

We are aware of the ecological, cultural and historical richness of the environment, so our main target has been the restoration of an old farmhouse, which was used as a shepherd shelter and cattle corral, in order to offer farmhouse accommodation, meeting all kind of different needs of leisure and rest, such as: romantic weekends, team workshop, family meetings, etc.

Camino del Castaño can be rented as a whole or by room as a B&B (Bed & Breakfast) 2 nights minimun stay. B&B from Sunday to Thursday.

It is placed in the field of LOS ALISOS, a beautiful plot of 8.5 hectares dedicated to organic farming. It is very rich of plant species, many of them endemic (five different species of Quercus, alders, chestnut trees, wild apple trees, cork oaks, etc.), and animal species such as salamanders, newts, mongooses, civet cats, moles and deer, as well as a wide range of passerines (nightingales, swallows, goldcrests, wrens, etc.).

This is located in the municipal area of Galaroza, a poetic inspiration village, where you can find the typical whitewashed houses and small paving streets where the water runs through the channels towards the farms of the local people.

From the house, you can go to the village enjoining a pleasant walk of ten minutes via the old Camino Real, a historical road from Galaroza to Castaño del Robledo, one of the most nice and known routes of the area. There is also road access to the house from N-433 highway.

Este hombre ya ha dejado una reseña similar en nuestro perfil de Google donde se le ha contestado. Parece que disfruta con la crítica de los negocios turísticos familiares según su perfil de Google. Aparte de ser un mentiroso pagó de menos y su amigo le tuvo que cubrir . En este comentario ha añadido que no funcionaba la calefacción lo cual es absolutamente falso. Que no había pastillas de lavavajillas cuando había dos botes de jabón líquido para lavavajilas. Que ha pagado de más cuando se han seguido las condiciones de reserva especificadas con mucha antelación. Es más, se les había guardado el depósito desde una reserva que hicieron hace más de un año y a la que no pudieron acudir. No ocultamos a nadie que Guillermo vive en la finca. Para todos su cercanía es un valor añadido pues está ahí para resolver cualquier cuestión, necesidad o dar informarción sobre rutas. Ya sabias que había otra casa Chantarela estaba cerca así que no había una idea inicial de estar solos como indicas. La dueña no devuelve la fianza cuando le parece sino al día siguiente, cuando entramos en la casa y vemos que todo está en orden, porque desde la época del covid donde no podíamos entrar cuando estaban los clientes, vimos que era más amable revisar después, y no andar husmeando mientras están recogiendo y que tengan que esperar la revisión. Obviamente esto le fue explicado a este señor como siempre hacemos. Nuestra piscina es natural, no lleva cloro ni químicos, tiene un sistema de depuración del agua similar a la poza de un rio, tiene su propio ecosistema, Y en esta época del año cerca de diciembre, han caído ya las hojas de los nogales que tienen nogalina, un tinte oscuro, y esa es la negrura señor. Aún así el agua está limpia, no estancada. Y prueba de ello es la cantidad de anfibios y fauna local que vienen a criar allí, que es el objetivo en esta época. En eso consiste el Ecoturismo, en compatibilizar el disfrute del ser humano con los procesos naturales de otros seres vivos.
