A beautiful 3 bedroom coastal cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way with stunning views across Galway Bay to the hills of Clare and the Aran Islands. An ideal base for exploring Connemara, yet only 10 minute drive from bustling Galway city, famous for its ‘craic and ceol’, traditional culture, festivals and lively pubs. Recently appointed European Capital of Culture 2020. The property has 3 double bedrooms. Main bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom, the second has a king size bed and the third has two standard single beds. All have fitted wardrobes. There is a well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, w machine, microwave, oven and electric hob. The open plan lounge and dining area benefit from a smart TV, patio doors and a cosy open fire. The large sun room to the front is an ideal spot to sit and watch the ‘sun go down on Galway Bay’. The gardens wrap around the property and there is a communal play area to the front. Furbo beach and Padraicins pub are only a few minutes walk away. The pub serves a range of good food, but specialises in freshly caught seafood and often hosts traditional dance and music.

The Connemara Coast Hotel is a 2 mins drive, whilst Barna is approx a 5 minute drive and has a range of facilities from the Twelve Hotel with its ‘West’ restaurant, Donnelly's pub and the award winning O’Grady’s on the Pier restaurant. It also has a supermarket, hairdressers, bakers, coffee shop, chemist, beautician, P Office and a range of take always.

There is a regular bus service throughout the day from Furbo to Galway City

Shannon airport is approximately an hours drive. Flights from UK from £24 return with Ryanair

Knock airport is about 1 hour 15 mins drive. Flights from UK from £30 return with Ryanair

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ita (the owner) a message.

    If Ita (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
