♡ Beautiful 1000 Islands waterfront! ♡
▪︎This unique set-up features 6 bunkie style (free-standing) bedrooms. 4 are side-by-side attached with a screened-in front area & 2 are front to back - all with QUEEN beds & stunning views of the Bateau Channel!
▪︎Our bunkies are located outside, just steps away from our PRIVATE (exclusive to your group) main Lodge with a kitchen/dining area featuring a cozy fireplace & 2 bathrooms.
▪︎Our "Lodge" (totally private to your group) is the lower level of the grey stone building shown. Above it is a tastefully decorated enclosed cottage, with its own bedroom, ensuite bathroom with shower, kitchen & living space. (This cottage is included in the rental listing as well.)
▪︎Includes Wi•Fi! (NEW!)
▪︎With all this & a BBQ just outside the Lodge & a fire pit between the bunkies & the water, you can have it all!
▪︎We provide bedding & linens, 1 towel + 1 washcloth/person, dishes/kitchenware, a 4 liter jug of water, TP & basic toiletries, propane & firewood. We do not supply or have paper towels. You'll also need to bring more water for drinking - our water is fine for dishes & showering.
We have 2 super friendly (off-leash) big dogs. We live next door so guests who are afraid of dogs should not attend the cottage.
■If you plan on doing some fishing here during your stay, you need to have a valid fishing license (can be purchased inexpensively online for weekly use) & your own equipment (rod, lures, worms, etc.).

With 4 other rental cottage spaces on the surrounding properties, Hideout on Howe is set up to entertain many guests at the same time. The best swimming spot is at the end of the dock for this space. If you would prefer other guests away from the dock/swimming hole, please let Courtney know in advance. Otherwise, you can be sure to see friendly faces & smiles from people enjoying themselves. The volleyball court is shared among guests as well.
☆Located on an island serviced by two ferries, Hideout is just minutes from beautiful Gananoque (the "Gateway to the 1000 Islands"). Local attractions include the renown 1000 Islands Playhouse, the Gan Brewing Company, the 1000 Islands History Museum, the Joel Stone Heritage Park with public playground, splash pad & sandy beach, the Marble Rock Conservation Area, the 1000 Islands Boat Museum, 2 or 4 hour cruises on the Gananoque Boat Line, numerous galleries, helicopter tours, kayaking day trips, & so much more. Join us for lunch at one of our favourite waterfront restaurants! There are several family/group friendly activities available. While these experiences are not sponsored or endorsed by Hideout on Howe, photos have been included to give guests an impression of life in the 1000 islands ; )☆
