This single-storey cottage is in a rural setting just over a mile from Gatehouse of Fleet, and sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms.Craiglure is a cosy single-storey property, 1.2 miles from Gatehouse of Fleet. The cottage has three bedrooms - two doubles, one with an en-suite shower room, and a single with additional pull-out stacker bed - and a house bathroom, along with additional cloakroom. There is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with open fire, along with a conservatory. Outside, is an extensive lawn, sloping in some parts, and a raised deck with furniture, along with off road parking for three cars. With the amenities of Gatehouse of Fleet close by and plentiful walking, fishing, golfing and more, Craiglure is a lovely year-round family base.

Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Enclosed lawned garden with raised decked terrace and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Note: Although this is a no pet property, the owner does occasionally stay with their pet.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders tothe ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Situated on the Solway Firth, the small, country town of Gatehouse of Fleet is a peaceful place, decorated in pretty pastel colours. Set in the gorgeous Dumfries and Galloway countryside and within five minutes' drive of beautiful sandy beaches, there is also a loch and the opportunity to try river fishing.The town boasts several shops, including a baker, butcher, grocer, bank and Post Office, whilst a number of the pubs also serve food and welcome children.
