Welcome to "The Big House" at Apple Blossom Farm. We are the only home in the entire area that offers a year-round heated indoor pool! Best in Gettysburg for Amenities! Embark upon a half-mile driveway adorned with organic apple trees and friendly deer as you head back to sheer bliss. The Big House is located in Gettysburg prestigious wine and orchard country just a quick 10 minutes to downtown Gettysburg allows you and the family to enjoy nature yet be close to all the action. Secluded and quiet – yet, practically next door from golf, shopping, restaurants, skiing, antiques, and lots more. The farm encompasses 30 acres of privately owned property where the air is cleaner. Sit on your private balcony that overlooks the pastures where you can watch horses, pygmy goats, deer, and wild turkeys plus many more animals.

We are located 66 miles from Baltimore, 85 miles to Washington DC, 3.5 hours from NYC, 2.5 miles from Philadelphia, 3 hours from Pittsburg, 60 miles to Lancaster, 1 hour to Hershey, and only 15 minutes to the Hagerstown outlets. Centrally located to Gettysburg, Ski Liberty, four vineyards, three golf courses, and two national parks all within a 15-minute drive.

Relax and spread out in in a two story 3800 sqft well maintained home. Every one of the 6 bedrooms has been newly decorated with luxury bedding and is impeccably clean. There are three full baths to more than accommodate your family and friends.

Enjoy the main level great room that overlooks our pasture while watching wildlife all around you. The horses will literally walk up 20 ft from the home along their fence line. If that’s not enough take a dip in a full size HEATED indoor pool. Yep, no matter what time of the year you and your family can relax day or night in your own private 2 story indoor heated pool. The pool room hosts a dry bar, spiral stairwell to the upstairs great room, picnic table, pool floats and toys, and many more pleasantries.

Fully equipped kitchen with a gas stainless steel stove, 29 cu stainless steel fridge, Stainless steel dishwasher, granite counter tops, full sets of dishware, glasses, and utensils. Two full sets of cookware and cooking utensils. The Kitchen also has a counter to sit at to grab a snack and an island to gather around.

The great room has two full size always sanitized and regularly cleaned couches, wing chair, a custom 15 foot long all wood dining table, and large 50" LCD TV, DVD Player, HDMI ports. The house is equipped with high speed Wi-Fi and full cable

The outside upper deck has tons of seating and a hammock to enjoy spending time anytime of the day with your friend or family. Wake up and have a cup of joe while overlooking the horse pasture and the start of your beautiful day.

Master Bedroom upstairs (main level): Large Queen bedroom, Pillow top queen bed, siting area, full bath with Jacuzzi tub, dresser, closets and window overlooking the horse pasture. Has a 32 inch smart TV

Upstairs Bedroom 2 (main level) hosts a full size post bed and full closet.

Upstairs Bedroom 3 (main level) The butterfly room hosts one loft twin bed, one bunk bed with a twin on the top and full bed on the bottom plus full closet, dresser, and a view of the grounds.

Family Room downstairs is perfect for the kids to play or adults as it is our Game room! Magnetic darts, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, card table, karaoke machine, and pool table There is also a 32 inch flatscreen TV with an Amazon fire stick

The front porch of the house has a propane grill.

The Big House is perfect for friends getting together or bringing the family together for a wonderful relaxing vacation.

While your on the farm enjoy spending time with our rescue farm animals. All are friendly and fun to interact with. 3 horses, 3 pygmy goats, 2 barn kitties, 40 chickens! Its like having a petting zoo at your disposal. Children enjoy helping feed the animals daily. Our 13 year-old son does provide treats for the chickens at $.50 a sandwich bag and one dollar for horse treats and they are located just inside the Front door.

We do accept dogs for a $100 flat fee per dog. No cats!

The rental and property are treated for fleas and ticks. We also in between each guest have a crew that comes in with black lights to check over all carpet and floors for an

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elizabeth (the owner) a message.

If Elizabeth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
