Superb spacious Gîte in an elevated position - idyllic location surrounded by open countryside with heated swimming pool,offers everything that a family and friends could wish for in the wonderful Loire valley in France.

Visit the world renowned Châteaux nearby, sample the local wines, visit the local vineyards, go for walks, take a cycle ride(some bikes provided together with cycle helmets), enjoy a meal in one of the many regional restaurants, relax in the grounds of this stunning property around the pool, have a barbecue, read a book (selection provided), listen to music, (selection of CDs provided), play one of our board games, watch the 51inch flat-screen TV with DVD and Video

All amenities close at hand-Boulangerie, Pharmacy, local village store, ladies hairdressers, local bar and local château (open to the public in Holiday season) in nearby Gizeux (1.5 miles). A little further afield in Bourgueil there is a selection of shops, banks, bars and restaurants with a Hypermarket on the edge of town.

This property is suitable for all ages and lends itself to people with reduced mobility as 3 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor together with a large bathroom (toilet, shower cubicle,bath) and separate toilet. Children and animals are welcome. Lockable gated access for safety and security.

“Great Gite in Lovely Setting”

We were a party of eight, four adults, two teenagers and two young children. We initially booked the property as it ticked all the boxes. It had plenty of space inside and out, a great pool and games for the kids. We arrived around 9pm after a long journey, but were warmly welcomed by Christopher and Linda. They showed us around and everything looked great. We were lucky that the weather was just right for most of the week and we were able to eat lunch and dinner on the terrace when we wanted to. The pool was new and great for our party. The young boys could play in the shallower end, whilst we could swim in the deep end. The temperature of the pool was spot on all week. We have been to the Loire before and it is a great place. We went to the ZooParc de Beavul which was amazing. We also went to the local street market at Bougueil which is held on a Tuesday and is nothing like you get in England. It is well worth a morning visit. Overall a top holiday in a super Gite.

How do damage deposits work?

If Christopher (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
