From the owner

A modern, semi-detached cottage built in the traditional style. Situated in the tranquil heart of Glendale, close to the shop, cafe, community hall and church. Spacious and light, the cottage is immaculately furnished and equipped way above ordinary standards. Close to the Three Chimneys Restaurant, Neist Point and a 10 minute walk to the beach.

The cottage stands on a 5 acre working croft with free-range hens and a small market garden. Flora and fauna seen from the cottage includes white-tailed eagles, red deer, brown hares, stoats, orchids and sundews.

Lephin cottage is furnished to a very high standard, with living room views across the glen and dining room views onto the croft. Relax on the comfy leather sofas as you watch the ever changing light across the hillside. The kitchen provides a home from home and is exceptionally well equipped, for those of you that love to cook. For those that prefer to eat out the friendly and welcoming Cafe Lephin is less than 5 minutes walk away. Serving delicious soups, sandwiches and homemade baking during the day. As it is only a walk away why not enjoy a local beer or dram with your lunch. For evening meals, a short drive into Dunvegan will take you to the Old School Restaurant or a little further a field you will find the Edinbane Inn. For those who fancy a real treat the fabulous Three Chimneys is a must, but book ahead!

After a days activities in the fresh unpolluted air you will find that sleep comes easy. We have two bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds. The comfortable mattresses and freshly laundered linens will help you drift off into the land of nod. For those of you that like to watch the night sky, the chances of catching the aurora borealis run high from Autumn through to Spring. Don't forget your camera!

No pets or smokers accepted.
