A stunning 6 bedroomed farmhouse, set in a beautiful idyllic location on the outskirts of Goathland village, otherwise known as Aidensfield famous for the TV series Heartbeat. Private indoor 6 person Hot tub. With views of the North York Moors Steam Railway our property has a stunning backdrop in all seasons. Perfectly situated for walkers wishing to explore the Yorkshire Coast or one of the many walks from the door on the North Yorkshire Moors. Ideal for Mountain Bikers, Bird watchers or simply those looking for a relaxing country retreat with family and friends. Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Dalby Forest are all within 15 minutes drive from the property, we truly have the best of both worlds, countryside and beach holidays all covered. There are weeks worth of entertainment within the area, if you are not planning a relaxing peaceful holiday. From theme parks, to water parks, to forest trails, to Crab fishing and meandering. There is plenty to do if your heart so desires.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Michelle (the owner) a message.

If Michelle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
