Villa Cruz overlooks the valley out to the Bay of Zupa Dubrovacka with panoramic sea views. It is 8km from Dubrovnik centre. This modern 5 star villa, with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, extensive private terrace,pool and jacuzzi comfortably accommodates 8/11 people. Extra beds and cot available. There are 4 generous bedrooms, all with balconies looking out to amazing sea/valley views. The living area has 2 large leather sofas and additionally a coffee table area looking out onto the patio. A spacious, modern open plan kitchen dining area looks out onto the extensive terrace and views beyond. Ideal for a relaxing family holiday, where exploring this outstandingly beautiful region couldn't be easier. 15 min/4km drive away, over the border (speedier border channels completed in December 2019) are the beautiful beaches of Mlini and Srebrno and also the historic town of Dubrovnik.
The medieval walled town of Trebinje has many lively bars and restaurants. Restaurants and bars are plentiful along the coast.

A complimentary 2 hour housekeeping service is provided once a week for stays of 7 nights or more. Bathroom towels and pool towels are provided. An extra charge is applicable for laundry, taxi service and baby sitting on request.
Please Note that due to the Covid pandemic we will ensure that our villa will be thoroughly disinfected and cleaned in between guest arrivals.

Coast/Beach
A 10 min drive (once over the border)/(4km) brings you to the beautiful shingle beaches of Mlini and Srebrno. There are family beaches, promenades and play areas but there are also plenty of quiet coves to be found along this amazing coastal area. You could take the ferry to the island of Lopud and spend the day on the beautiful sandy beach, a great day out!
How to get there
The nearest airport to Villa Cruz is Dubrovnik International which is a 20 min/14km drive away. British Airways, Easy Jet, Monarch and Croatian Airlines and many other low cost carriers serve this airport. A taxi from the airport will cost approx 30 Euros. Due to the location of the Villa, a car is necessary for travel.
Distances
Villa Cruz is very centrally located. For Croatia, you are 8km from Dubrovnik centre, 4km from local beaches restaurants and nightlife and 12km from Cavtat and the airport.
For Bosnia, you are 18km from the medieval walled town of Trebinje, 110km from the old city of Mostar. The fjords at Kotor, Montenegro are just 70km away.
Further Details
There are two local shops within walking distance for basic provisions. Larger supermarkets e.g. Lidl and Getro are 4km away. There is a daily food market to be found in Trebinje as well as a pharmacy, banks and currency exchange. There are 2 local restaurant/bars in Ivanica which offer simple but freshly cooked dishes. Also a new restaurant a 5 minute drive from the Villa. Additionally, there is a wide selection of bars, restaurants and coffee shops within a short drive, either in Croatia or Bosnia. We would recommend Trebinje, Cavtat or Dubrovnik for a night out.
If you are visiting in the summer do not miss the world-renowned Dubrovnik Summer Music Festival with music, theatre and dance performances. Or enjoy the Maraton Ladja (annual boat race) in August or the Mussel Festival in September.
The opportunities for sight seeing are numerous. In the historic city of Dubrovnik, visit the Church of St Blasius (18th century)or stroll through the lanes of the old town and stop for a coffee/lunch at Placa a popular promenade. The trendy fishing village 0f Cavtat is well worth a visit or take a boat trip to explore one of the many islands. Miljet has a National Park and Lopud has a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear waters. Or take a day trip to the beautiful town of Mostar with picturesque bridge. Travel further to Montenegro and visit the Dumitor National Park for some rafting, skiing or even bungee jumping! Explore Tivat and its state of the art marina. Visit Sveti Stefan and explore this intriguing town.
