Gorran Haven has a small sandy beach, connecting with the longer Great Perhaver beach at low tide. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust, including the 370 feet high Dodman Point, rising above Gorran, which is thought to be one of Cornwalls most dramatic headlands, and the cause of many a shipwreck.
