The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountainroad (F210). In this area you can find many beautiful sites to visit only by walking or driving a short path. The house is also located a short distance from the mountain road that leads to Landmannalaugar (F208). The cottage is 15 km from the highway. The Northern Lights show themselves often in this area.
