From the owner

This is an artists cottage built around the 1900's set low on one and a half acres in Co. Sligo, just outside the village of Grange.

It is a perfect place to really relax and feel cut away from the world. If you are looking for something more unusual and special then this is a place to consider. . There are the most amazing beaches within 10 minutes drive for swimming and surfing, There is stunning scenery with mountain walking and the local village of Grange has all that one needs, supermarket, laundrette and two lovely pubs all 15 minutes walking distance from the cottage.

The downsides for those who need to be in touch, are erratic or extremely limited phone reception and no internet,, but that is balanced by calm..You can walk to the top of the lane and make those calls from there...

The two bedrooms at the back are really adjoining rooms separated by a wall and door, these are the rooms with the 2 single beds and the 2 sets of bunks, The other bedroom with the double bed is larger with its own fireplace and is off the main kitchen/dining area that you see in the photograph.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Catherine (the owner) a message.

If Catherine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
