Vellir is a lovely accommodation in Grenivík, in north coast of Iceland. It is located on the shoreline and has a wonderful view over the fjord. It is 90m2 on three floors with. In the mid floor is a entrance, toilet, kitchen and a living room, possible to walk out on the porch from there. A slseeping sofa is the living room. The upper floor has a big bedroom with a double bed and 2 single beds, then possible to add 4 mattresses. On the first floor is a bedroom for 2 persons in 2 single beds, bathroom with a shower and a bath and a laundry room.
The house is well equipped with for example stove and an oven, microwave and much more. A crib and a high chair for a kid are also in the house. TV and a radio are also there. Then in the laundry room there is a washing machine and a area to dry. On the porch there is a table and chairs and a BBQ. Duvet, pillows, linens and towels are included for up to 8 persons.
From the house there is an amazing view out on the ocean and a view over the fjord. The evening sun is quite spectacular from the house that we recommend enjoying. There is also a good mountain view and in the winter, this can be a good location to see the northern lights.
It is a regular occurrence that there are some whales swimming in the area.
Activities: In the winter time then skiing, snowboarding or snowmobile is really popular in this area.
In Grenivík town there is a grocery store, restaurant, swimming pool, gym and a golf course.
All around are also good hiking paths, both long and short.
