Escape the real world & rediscover your inner calm. It sounds clichéd, but sitting with a long cold drink on the sun terrace, soaking up the valley view, the whisper of the wind through the forest of oak & the birdsong dancing from tree to tree, we defy you not to find peace from your hectic home and work life. But getting back to nature doesn't mean you can't listen to some good music on the outdoor speaker system. Or keep up-to-date with the wi-fi. It also doesn't mean you have work around ancient facilities - you'll find a modern, well equipped kitchen that's a joy to use.
You'll also find 2 modern bathrooms, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. There's a TV, with free UK channels and DVD player, but to be honest you'll spend most of your waking hours out on the BBQ terrace, or walking down to our stretch of the River Loup where you'll find a little picnic area. The unspoilt village of Gréolières is 4kms along the valley where you'll find a selection of restaurants and shops.
We can be flexible with the duration of your stay, so please get in touch if you have any questions.

Further details outdoors
Directly outside the kitchen and dining room is a 55m2 (that's nearly 600sqft) sun terrace. It sits high above the valley, faces south and catches the sun all day long. There's a large table and 8 chairs, complete with a parasol for shady lunches. There's a gas bbq - and the gas is included in the price. You'll also find furniture for lounging around, including some really comfortable outdoor bean bags. Below the terrace is a hammock ideal for an afternoon nap.
Our garden is mainly a forest of oak leading down to the waters edge of the River Loup. There's over 15 acres, and you're free to wander whereever your legs take you. Occasionally next doors Donkey will wander in for a nibble on the foliage - he's called Martin and is a friendly sort.
