OWNED BY A SWISS BUSINESS FIRM THIS COUNTRY HOUSE IS MANAGED BY AN ITALIAN HOUSE MANAGER .YOU WILL ENJOY A FOUR STARS SERVICE : THIS MEANS THAT YOU RENT THE ENTIRE HOUSE, EVEN FOR ONLY TWO GUESTS , EVERY RESERVATION IS FOR THE ENTIRE PROPERTY. THE HUDGE GARDEN AND THE POOL ARE PRIVATE, NOT SHARED WITH ANY OTHER AND THIS IS VERY UNCOMMON IN CHIANTI REGION FOR THIS KIND OF ACCOMODATIONS.POOL IS OPEN FROM 20th May to 15th september YOU WILL ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE OF LIVING IN A VERY ANCIENT STONE HOUSE WHICH IN THE PAST WAS A COUNTRY CHURCH. THE VIEW IS MAGNIFICIENT AND PEACEFUL. THE TWO TERRACES ARE WONDERFUL FOR LONG LUNCHES OR RELAXING EVENINGS. WE PROVIDE CLEAN SHEETS ,TOWELS AND POOL TOWELS EVERY WEEK, BATHFOAM, HAIRDRYERS AND WELCOME KIT. THE GUESTS CAN ASK FOR ADDITIONAL CLEANING DURING THEIR STAYING PAYING 18 EUROS PER HOUR . CHECK IN IS STRICTLY FROM 4 PM TO 5 PM, AND CHECK OUT IS FROM 8 AM TO 10 AM. FOR LATE CHECK IN OR EARLY CHECK OUT WE APPLY A FEE OF 50 EUROS.

GROUND FLOOR : MAIN ENTRANCE , LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM , KITCHEN AND A TOILET.

FIRST FLOOR :THREE BEDROOMS AND TWO BATHROOMS WITH SHOWER. THE HOUSE IS CONFORTABLE AND VERY QUITE ,ONLY THREE KM FROM THE MAIN VILLAGE OF GREVE IN CHIANTI WHERE YOU CAN FIND SHOPS, MARKETS AND RESTAURANTS. GOOD POSITION TO REACH FLORENCE ( ONLY 30 KM) AND SIENA. THE PERFECT PLACE TO RELAX AND GOOD STARTING POINT TO VISIT TUSCANY

The main entrance leads into the oldest part of the house, where is preserved the original stone and brickwork walls seen in the living room. This room now has comfortable sofas, a fireplace for those who come in Spring or Autumn, and doors out to the large pergola overlooking the oval pool. A dining area between the living room and the kitchen also has doors to a furnished terrace and a nearby barbecue. In the modern kitchen in addition to the modern appliances is the original bread oven used centuries ago by the parish priest and still standing ready to serve. One staircase leads up to three double bedrooms All rooms are furnished with good beds and country furniture.

PLEASE NOTE: the house has staircases so it might not be suitable for babies and children under 8 years. the swimming pool is fenceless so if your children are not able to swim they must be surveilled.

the house has stairs so it could not be suitable for very young children. the pool is not fenced. Parties are not allowed .
WIFI is available for NON UE citizens
The guests are kindly requested to take out the trash at the end of their stay. the trash must be taken to the containers located along the street close to the house.
Pans,pots,plates and all the other tablewares must be washed in the dishwasher and replaced in the kitchen cabinets.
Please clean up the kitchen and leave the fridge empty

Dear Faraway, I notice you have released your review almost one year after your presumed staying in this villa I did not hosted any guest from Tripadvisor in June 2018 , so I do not know who you are and it is very difficult for me to answer to this review. I alert al potential guests to keep in consideration only the reviews of verified guests. We do not use to hide important informations and we do all the best to keep the house in the best conditions . I want also to point out that our Villa is one of the best affordable accomodation in the area , a private Villa with private pool only 3 km from the centre of Greve for an average price of 40-50 euros for person for night. And I want also to remember to all potential guests that everyone can write a review on tripadvisor without needing to demonstrate they have really visited that place and this is a problem.

Lovely location,could not use pool due to it being cold.Accomodation comfortable but certainly not luxurious.

Thank you Stuart for your review. We advertise clearly that the pool is not heated , for this reason in May the water is a little bit chilly. When we say luxury we mean you have a whole Villa for your own, with one of the biggest private pool and garden you can find in the area. Linens and towel are of good quality and the beds are very confortable . The villa is equipped with all appliances a guest may desire. Furniture is not antique but respects the style of an ancient stone house tipical of the Chianti area. Regards Manuela House Manager

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
