This luxury penthouse apartment is built into the side of a mountain providing stunning wraparound views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The apartment features marble floors and has a large living area, three bedrooms (two double and one twin), two full bathrooms and a large breakfast kitchen. The large private terrace ,with ample space for dining and lounging, has probably the best views in the village as it directly overlooks the lake. The penthouse has no directly adjoining neighbours and is set back from the apartments below so you are assured of privacy. In order for you to have a comfortable and relaxing stay at the penthouse, it is well furnished with all the comforts of home. There is a large dvd library as well as a good choice of books and games to play and high speed WIFI. The terrace has breathtaking 'wraparound views' of the mountains. It is well furnished with a dining set for eight and also two comfortable loungers (more can be requested if required). The planters on the terrace feature local plants and also herbs, so please feel free to pick a few herbs if you are cooking!!

The penthouse features three beautiful bedrooms, two of which have doors to the terrace. There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The penthouse also has two full large bathrooms, which are beautifully tiled. There is a large breakfast kitchen with all the appliances you would expect at home. The penthouse also benefits from dedicated secure garage parking.

As travelling with young ones is never easy a a 'baby pack' is available which includes a steam steraliser, bib, baby cup, quality UK cot, highchair, toys and books. Just a few steps from the penthouse is a new children's park and square. Also in the village is a bigger play park for children, who are always made very welcome in the village.The penthouse is situated in the beautiful mountain village of Guejar Sierra with cobbled streets, floral displays and a handful of wonderful tapas bars. Ideally located 15 mins from Granada and the Alhambra, 20 mins from the ski slopes and 50 mins to the beaches. The apartment is perfectly based to take advantage of the fantastic surrounding area. A variety of activities are available and can be organised for your holiday including guided walks, mountain biking, photography tours, tapas tours, flamenco evening, horseriding and canoeing. Please do not hesitate to ask for further information.

Accommodation Costs - The penthouse is based on a per person occupancy which means it is a great option for couples as well as larger groups. If you are a group larger than eight then please let me know and I can enquire on availability of other local apartments. At different times of year special offers are available, so please ask at time of enquiry.

It's great to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Mulhacen Penthouse. The village of Guejar Sierra is charming and beautiful. You are absolutely right that the locals are friendly and making a little effort with the language is always appreciated. The local area is fantastic to visit too, I am really pleased that you managed to explore what Andalucia has to offer. The penthouse recently had a number of rooms painted and has also benefited from new large french doors in the large living area. The last couple of rooms are to be painted very soon. There are two full bathrooms with two showers over the bath. One of the baths has a lower side than the other, but appreciate this may still be difficult if someone had mobility issues. You are absolutely right that Rosie and Graham are very helpful. We are very fortunate to have them looking after our penthouse and guests as they do such a fantastic job. It makes such a difference to guests, knowing they have advice and help on hand should they need it. Thank you for choosing to take your holiday at the Mulhacen Penthouse. I hope to welcome you back to those wonderful terrace views soon!

How do damage deposits work?

If Clare (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
