The Colonel’s House is situated in the town of Gullane, on the southern shores of the Firth of Forth, a mere 20 miles from Edinburgh in an area known as East Lothian, one of Scotland’s best kept secrets. With a unique microclimate that offers more sunshine than most other locations in Scotland, it is rich in rolling farmland, cliff top walks, beaches, golf courses, rambling cycle routes, historic houses and castles, charming villages and seaside towns - in fact everything you might want for a relaxing holiday or a short break in the country.


The Colonel’s House is light and spacious and is furnished in a comfortable country house style. It has a charming drawing room with french windows opening on to a private garden and terrace.
