Situated on a quiet road in the village of Gunnerside, in Swaledale, Bruaich Cottage is a wonderfully comfortable home from home, visited frequently by its owners. Enjoy its rustic charm in the spacious upstairs living/dining room, with exposed rafters, giving you marvellous views of the hills over the rooftops, whilst tucked up in front of the stove (all coal and logs included). Bruaich was originally a barn, and is detached, with many home comforts.
The bedrooms, a master king, and a second double bedroom are downstairs and warmly cosy. Electric storage heaters provide plenty of warmth on cool evenings and the kitchen and bathroom are newly fitted.
The kitchen is small, but perfectly formed, with a fridge and microwave. The shower room, halfway up the stairs has a large shower enclosure, WC and basin.
Many walks direct from the door, including Gunnerside Ghyll, where you can explore old lead mine workings. Parking for up to two cars in front of the cottage on a gravelled area, and lockable outhouse.
Sink into the comfort of a king-size bed at the end of a day spent exploring the beautiful surrounding scenery! Free wifi and landline (honesty box). One well-behaved dog welcome, strictly not on furniture or in bedrooms.
