From the owner

Quite, relaxed, near Haarlem ( 5 minutes), Amsterdam ( 20 minutes), Schiphol airport ( 20 minutes), Zandvoort-beachtown ( 20 minutes).

Lots of walking and biking opportunities ( tandem bike, adult bikes and children bikes available free of charge).

The house has a cosy, not too big living/dining room of around 25 square meters, a study and a very well equipped kitchen. ( including dish washer, oven and micro-wave)

A washing machine and dryer are available at your service.

I have 3 separate bedrooms.

The master bedroom on the first floor has a brand-new king-size 2 persons bed ( 2.00 meter x 1.80 meter).

The other bedroom on the first floor has two brand new 1 person beds : 2.00 X 90 ( which can be connected and serve as a king-size double bed )

On the second floor in the loft there are two brand new 1 person beds : 2.00 X 90 ( which can be connected and serve as a king-size double bed )

Take notice that the stairs to the second floor are a bit steep, which sometimes can be a hurdle for small children and elderly people.

I have optional to be used an extra bed with double matrass ( 1.90 meter x 0,9 meter) that can easily be added in the second floor room, so you can choose to sleep with 3 in the loft and 1 in the guest room.

The modern toilet is on the first floor.

The bathroom is connected to the master bedroom, but the door between the bedroom and shower can be closed so other can shower in total privacy.

The bathroom is equipped with a nice shower, with water coming from 5 directions if you want and also a superb bath, if you want for 2.

Houserules;

No smoking and no pets in the house please.

No cannabis or any other drugs allowed in and around the house please. Please be aware that everybody loves the quite and nice place so if you know you want to make parties or raise your voices too much after 10 PM in the garden or in the house with the windows open, this is not a place four you.

Due to some problems I encountered with earlier bookings I am sorry that I cannot accept any minors and/or student groups.

As long as you use the house in a proper and clean way nearly the whole house is all yours..... You are welcome!

House rules

The house is a family-house in a relaxed and quite neighborhood so please behave accordingly so i can stay friends with my beloved neighbors, thanks.

Please be aware that the stairs to the "loft" are valued by some of my guests as a bit steep for elderly people and/or very young kids.

Standard check-in time is after 3.30 PM and check-out before 10.30 AM.
Do not hesitate to check for alternative times, i will do my utmost to serve you depending on arrival and departure of other guests.

thanks a lot for your nice review ! just to add that all distances are discribed in the advertisment : walking distance to the bus station is about 5 to 10 minutes the bus will take about 15 minutes to the Haarlem train station from there the train takes about 15 minutes total door to door to amsterdam centre is about 40 minutes if you want to visit the centre of Haarlem the bus will only take max 10 minutes

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Paul (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Paul (the owner) a message.

If Paul (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
