“Hiddenside" where nature meets heritage central to the all heritage sites and other tourists attractions and its surroundings are a natural landscape home to native trees, jungle and endemic species of birds and other fauna & flora. There are frequent visits of elephants even during the dry season due to the abundance of natural springs in the property. We also strive to provide you with Serenity in its purest form, enjoy nature & all local activities authentically. This active village is non-commercialized and we do everything possible to preserve it.

It is an ideal place for artists, inspirational for writers & poets & more so to relax outdoors and enjoy the calmness of the inherited untouched landscape.

Children can enjoy its safe haven too.

All historical tourist attractions are easily accessible with a vehicle & is within reach in a short span of time. The villa comprises of three double bed rooms with en-suites and a large family room with en-suite. All bedrooms and bathrooms are kept insect free as much as possible. It has four indoor reception rooms and one outdoor. The whole villa can be booked for $150 for 4 guests and each additional guests $20. Maximum of 12 guests can comfortably occupy the entire villa.

All bedrooms are air-con and private bathrooms are with hot water. It's strictly non-smoking, consumption of alcohol and loud music are not allowed in the rooms or in indoor receptions areas except designated outdoor courtyard.

Each room has its own entrance and kept far apart from the other which gives your independent living.

Things to know

1) Set menu for the day Lunch per person $7 and Dinner per person $8. 2) Please place your meals requirements after breakfast for the day. 3) No drivers and tour guides are allowed to have meals or lodging in the villa. 4) Driver quarters are available for one driver and a guide and meals (only breakfast and dinner) at a nominal charge of Rs1000/= per person. 5) Children under 4 years of age are free and are only accommodated in rooms "Cinnamon" and "Saffron" and will be counted in for the guests numbers allowed in a room. 6) You will faintly hear the prayers said in our local Buddhist temple around 6-7 pm when you are in the villa. 7) We endeavor to keep our villa insect and dirty free at all times. Sometimes you might find the odd small frog or two in the bathroom and toilet. They are harmless but If you are feeling uncomfortable please call us for assistance. 8) In case of a electricity failure in the district our generators will provide you sufficient electricity for lights, ceiling fans and the kitchen appliances to work but not the air conditions. 9) In case of air condition break down in the night please bare with us by using ceiling fans until we can attend to it next day.

10) You will have WiFi connection at a certain time of the day and also the reception can sometimes vary as we are located little bit away from the nearest signal towers.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Paul (the owner) a message.

If Paul (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
