Granary Cottage is situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park at Hackness, 7 miles west of Scarborough and the East Coast, and convenient for Whitby, Filey, Bridlington, Pickering and York.
This self-catering cottage is a beautifully renovated 18th Century barn nestled in a superb position overlooking the stunning Troutsdale countryside. The cottage has three bedrooms, one super-king, one king and one twin, each with en-suite marble tiled bathrooms, sleeping six guests in comfortable luxury. Granary Cottage is located on a working farm so dogs need to kept under control at all times. There is plenty of parking and outside space and garden (not enclosed) with garden furniture for those long summer evenings.
- Any amendments made to the reservation after booking will incur an additional administrative fee of £25.
- Dogs welcome at £20 per dog (maximum 2 dogs). Please keep dogs under control at all times, especially near farm animals, and do not leave them alone in the cottage.
- Please dry your wet or dirty dogs before allowing them on the carpets, and do not let them on the furniture or beds. Please remove all dog mess from all outside areas.
- Gardens/Outside areas not necessarily dog proof, even if fenced/walled.
- No events or parties to be held in the cottage, and please be considerate towards your neighbours and other guests.
- Wi-Fi signal may be intermittent due to remote location.
- Mobile phone signal is poor, also due to remote location - payphone in cottage for your convenience.
- In the cottage you'll find a Guest Information folder, with details of places to eat out, ideas for local walks and day trips, and other practical information such as opening times of supermarkets and local attractions. This information will also be emailed to you with your Arrival Details.
