We offer stylish, comfortable & contemporary B&B accommodation in the heart of Victoria's Goldfields. Tariff is for a couple, extra adults are $60 each, children 12 and under are $30 each, we can accommodate up to 5 people. Couples who choose to have separate sleeping arrangements will incur a extra cost of $60. We are located within 5 minutes drive from several wineries, ( Bress, Blackjack, Mt Alexander & Harcourt Valley). There are interesting walking tracks on Mt Alexander together with cycling tracks to nearby towns, Haven on Barkers is set on 5 acres of tranquil & beautiful gardens overlooking neighbouring farmland, lots to explore, small farm animals ( pony, goats, chickens ), just 5 min from Castlemaine, 30 min to Bendigo and Daylesford, a nursery cafe is across the road. Judi & Lou will welcome you with a delicious afternoon tea of either home baked cheese cake, muffins or scones. A generous continental breakfast includes:- home baked bread, various spreads, fresh juice, milk, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, espresso coffee & selection of quality teas.

Why can't I call Lou Marsal / (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Lou Marsal / (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lou Marsal / (the owner) a message.

If Lou Marsal / (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
