A Hasty Getaway is an adorable, secluded cabin in the Ozark National Forest within hiking distance to the Buffalo National River. It is the perfect place for couples and small families.

Please note, you will be charged NO Extra, Surprise Fees (pet, cleaning, etc.) Uncle Sam and TripAdvisor get their share and that's all!

The cabin is between the Carver and Hasty cutoffs of the Buffalo National River, about 1/2 mile off of the Hasty Low-water Bridge.

Comfortable, with all of the amenities, this is a great place to stay for your trip to Scenic Highway 7, Jasper, AR, the Ozark Mountains, and the Buffalo National River. The cabin is designed and furnished with your comfort in mind. Our goal is to do everything in our power so you have the best vacation possible!

The cabin has an huge wrap porch with a comfortable seating area so you can relax, sip a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, and enjoy the peaceful serenity of our forest.

The living room is spacious with sofa, chairs, and a beautiful dining table for meals or games. An electric fireplace provides ambiance and/or heat.

Stable, reliable, land-line based DSL internet service provides Wi-fi to the cabin and patio. You will find plenty of power supplies to plug/recharge your devices. We've changed to YouTubeTV and it's working great!

Games, puzzles, movies, coloring books/pens, and a wide range of books are provided for entertainment. We have a reference library that includes trail and waterfall guides, bird books, and meditation guides.

The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, serving ware, cookware, and about everything you need to prepare meals. Most spices and cooking essentials are provided. Pancake mix and syrup ensure you can fix breakfast! Regular drip and a Keurig coffee makers are available along with K-cups or ground coffee. Teas (herbal and caffeinated) are also stocked.

The bedroom is a sanctuary with a queen-sized bed, luxurious linens, and the most amazing mattress. This means you will have the sweetest of dreams. The closet has plenty of hangers and there is a chest of drawers to conveniently hold your things.

The loft offers two twin-sized pallets and is a unique place to sleep. Perfect for kids or adventurous adults, you have to climb a ladder to get there!

The full bath is stocked like home! Towels and River towels. A magnifying mirror, blow dryer, and shampoo/conditioner and body wash round out the 'usual' bathroom essentials. Emergency amenities are provided. The emergency supply kit has first aid, sunburn cream, single use medications, feminine supplies, eyeglass repair, muscle rub, etc.

There is also a washer and dryer and detergent if you need. There's an iron and small ironing board but don't think they've ever been used!

The cabin sits on about 10 acres with landscaping and private pathways to explore. Two trails from the neighborhood take you to the river. Over the years our neighborhood has filled up, but you will rarely see others!

A picnic table, fire pit, and a BBQ grill to give you outdoor living options. Enjoy our dark sky and stargaze to your heart's content. Marshmallow forks are provided for roasting hot dogs or making s'mores.

Our cabin is your cabin; we want you to enjoy it as much as we do.

    How do damage deposits work?
