Description from owner

'Fall in Green' is newly available for 2017. This traditional old Yorkshire stone house is situated just a few minutes walk from Haworth Main Street yet it is set overlooking countryside and the beautiful Worth Valley. It has been designed as a perfect retreat for two and is equipped with everything you'll need for a relaxing break away from it all. The house has a double bedroom overlooking a field of sheep to the front of the house and a luxurious newly-fitted bathroom with a traditional bath and a monsoon-style shower. The living room has a wood-burning stove, sofas from John Lewis, TV, NETFLIX and of course, WI-FI. The kitchen is brand new and very well equipped. The outstanding feature of this house is the conservatory with stunning views over the Worth Valley. At certain times of year the Worth Valley steam trains are visible from the conservatory and the garden. There is a parking space directly outside the front door for those travelling by car. The garden itself provides a large outdoor area with decking and garden furniture and a chiminea for outdoor fires in the evening. Haworth has a lovely old cobbled Main Street with lots of quirky shops, tea rooms and traditional pubs. The moor is within walking distance and offers some of the most spectacular walks in the UK, including the walk to Top Withins, the house which is supposed to be Emily Bronte's inspiration for 'Wuthering Heights'. The name of the house, 'Fall in Green' is taken from the second line of the famous Kate Bush song of the same name. The cottage is a very relaxing place to stay for a few days but for those who like to explore, Skipton, Saltaire and Hebden Bridge are all within easy travelling distance.

Very Good

“Great house in a superb location”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2018

Fall in Green is a lovely property located just off the Main Street in Haworth overlooking fields and with magnificent views across the hills and valley behind the property. The house has been skilfully and sympathetically modernised and is equipped with all that most people would need for a stay of a week or even longer. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending the house and hope to return some time soon.

“Heaven on the hill”

Reviewed 20 Jun 2018

The location is challenging and at the same time excellent, the views are great, the cottage had a lovely feel about it. It’s situated on a very steep hill so not for people with walking difficulties however for us it helped us work off the copious amount of good food and alcohol that the local drinking holes supplied. The facilities in the cottage were very good with everything you need provided and even a nice welcome pack. All in all a very nice stay and would definitely recommend.

“Booked this for my mum & dad who thoroughly enjoyed their stay at this lovely cottage.”

Excellent cottage that is perfectly located just a short walking distance from the centre of Haworth. Newly and tastefully refurbished with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Beautiful views across the worth valley from a lovely conservatory. We will definitely be booking this cottage when we visit Haworth again. Sylvia & Brian

Response from the owner Hello Sylvia and Brian Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m very happy that you enjoyed your time in Haworth and I hope to see you again soon. Thanks

“Loved this cottage”

Reviewed 17 Jun 2017

This cottage is gorgeous and we really enjoyed our stay there. Everything is brand new and the decor is modern yet in keeping with the cottage. The fabulous bathroom adds to the comfort factor. We really liked the conservatory too. Amazing view of the garden and beyond. Location of cottage is ideal too being rural yet close to Main Street. We will return. Thanks also Catherine for the lovely welcome pack - a lovely gesture. I have posted a couple of pictures showing the view- excuse the glasses - it was my husband's 50th birthday!
