When the original owners named Vu an Tecca, they knew what they were doing, as Vu an Tecca is Cornish for 'Prettiest View' and we would go so far as to say it exceeds pretty and is pretty spectacular.

From the Lounge window, you will enjoy 180 degrees panoramic view of Lelant Golf course, Carbis Bay, St Ives Bay and all the way up to Godrevey Lighthouse. It was the reason we bought the place and never fails to deliver, regardless of the weather. SMALL DOGS ARE WELCOME - THEY LOVE OUR BEACH

Vu an Tecca was re-built some 8 years ago and was fully re-furbished in 2017 and boasts two spacious double bedrooms - one with King size Bed and the other with twin beds. Both bedrooms have TV/DVD player with remote control and hair dryer. We provide all bed linen (superior hotel quality) and towels.

The lounge is furnished with leather sofa's, contemporary dining furniture and a good sized, well equipped kitchen with full size fridge freezer. The family bathroom boasts, full size bath, separate shower cubicle, wc and wash hand basin, with very handy store room for luggage, boots, coats and drying area etc. An external store houses the washing machine with lots of space for drying. A high chair and travel cot, will be found within the store room.

On arrival we want you to feel right at home and so we provide a complimentary Cornish cream tea. All you need to do is kick back, relax and let the Cornish air wash over you.

We live just off site, so if you have any problems, we are literally two minutes away. In Vu an Tecca, you will find TV/DVD players in each bedroom and the lounge together with a range of family suitable DVD's. But you are of course welcome to bring your own. We also provide a range of board games and books. Heating and power is via electric and we stock the meter with an average weeks consumption of electricity.

The interior of the chalet was designed to accommodate the needs of a family of four easily with good space between the beds and full sized wardrobes, bathroom and kitchen. It accommodates the needs of disabled users, however, we need to point out there are steps immediately at the front, with a sloped grass bank to the side. Why can't I call Jaqueline (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Jaqueline (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jaqueline (the owner) a message.

If Jaqueline (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
