From the owner

Guests have sole occupancy of this private, detached, fully self-contained holiday house with free onsite parking for 4 vehicles. There are 3 bedrooms with a choice of 1 Queen, 1 Double and 2 Single beds. No charge for a baby in its own portacot. All linen and towels supplied. Free Wi-Fi, large screen Internet TV with Netflix, YouTube, Sports and kids stations.

The house is located in a quiet road, 8 minutes walk to Healesville's vibrant east end, the town's most popular visitor precinct.

Features are quality, retro style furniture, hardwood polished floors, a high ceiling for a feeling of space and large windows in all main rooms for lots of natural light and views to the garden. There's split system air conditioning in all bedrooms and the dining room. The main bedroom has a Queen size bed, walk-in robe/dressing room, direct access to the toilet and an outside deck overlooking the garden. There's room for a baby's portacot.

The fully equipped kitchen has a 3 metre meal preparation/servery bar, cookware, crockery, cutlery, glassware, toaster, jug, sandwich grill, refrigerator, oven, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and pantry goods.

A self serve breakfast includes a selection of cereals, milk, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. The pantry and fridge have other essential provisions.

The Dining room has split system air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a 2nd TV, a digital/FM radio and a selection of books and board games.

The Lounge has gas space heating, a ceiling fan, a large flat screen Internet TV, a DVD Player and a selection of DVD movies.

The bathroom has a standard bath, shower recess and vanity and a heater. A baby bath is available. A shower chair is available. The toilet is separate and a sturdy frame is available.

Soap, body wash, shampoo, hair conditioner and a hair dryer are supplied.

The laundry is equipped with a large washing machine, hand washing facilities, iron and ironing board, umbrellas and torches.

Set high in a large, landscaped rock garden, the property features beautiful ferns and established trees. Seed is provided to feed the wild birds from the two outdoor decks.

Guests can self check-in by accessing keys from a lockbox at the front door. The combination is provided before arrival. Check in and check out times can be adjusted or extended depending on adjacent bookings.

A free 2 hour tour of Healesville Sanctuary is offered to guests who stay 4 or more nights. Your host is a qualified Tour Guide who has excellent knowledge of Australia's unique wildlife.

Perfect place for a catch up with friends. 10 min walk to Healesville CBD. Alison added the simple touches of flowers and chocolate. Very enjoyable stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Alison (the owner) a message.

If Alison (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
