"The hostel Herrera" is located in the town of Herrera de Pisuerga, north of the province of Palencia, next to the Canal de Castilla. It is set in a unique renovated building in the old square of cattle, within the village, next to the bus station and bar, and the Archaeological Hall. The house has 38 rooms divided into 6 squares on capacity for 4, 6 and 8 people. Bunk beds are equipped with sheets and comforter Nordic type, also locked drawers individual and independent light on each bed. All rooms have their own bathroom, one adapted for the disabled. As for the facilities, we have a large kitchen perfect for groups and fully equipped with everything necessary to make yourselves at home (refrigerator, dishwasher, hob, microwave, juicer, coffee makers, toasters, TV, coffee ...) as well as three function rooms with TV, tables, sofas ... the hostel has central heating, hot water and free WiFi. We also offer free bicycle parking, where your bikes locked in separate lockers. Herrera de Pisuerga has a Archaeological Hall, the House Crayfish (Interpretation Centre Crayfish), a beautiful Bird Park, the Canal de Castilla and Marquis Ensenada boat. In addition the city pass some important routes such as Causeway Blendios used by the Romans; the Camino de Santiago (Route Besaya), used by pilgrims to Santiago and the Emperor Charles V spent his arrival in Spain; and the iconic Canal de Castilla until the last century used to transport goods.
