Masodini Game Lodge is situated in the BIG 5 Balule Nature Reserve, a private wildlife reserve in the Limpopo bush veld,17km north of Hoedspruit. It's a 4-5 hour drive from Johannesburg and close to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport.
Within close proximity to the Kruger National Park and an enormous amount of outdoor activities, Masodini Game Lodge is your ideal base when visiting the area!
Accommodating up to 10 guests sharing, complete with necessary creature comforts, room maid and gardener on site (chef de cusine on request) and just a short drive from the local shops, banks and some really great restaurants.
Masodini is ideal for the bush and has the athmosphere and amenities to ensure your stay will be truly memorable. Come and relax and enjoy the wildlife at your doorstep.

2 bush chalets with 2 bedrooms, full bathroom and private patio, and 1bush chalet with full bathroom and private patio.
The Lapa (our open bar), Boma (campfire under open sky) and splash pool are the ideal entertainment areas for you, your friends and family.
The main lodge boasts a komplete kitchen complete with fridge, stove, oven and all crockery, cutlery and glassware needed; a dining aerea and open terrasse with view towards waterhole.
All bedrooms are equipped with overhead fans, towels and linen.
Masodini Game Lodge is ideally situated in the 40.000 hectares Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park, to offer you the true feeling of Africa. A Bush lover's paradise within this 'Big Five' Conservation area, the Lodge itself is surrounded by Fever trees and evergreen African date palms creating the perfect oasis. The lodge overlooks the water hole, is safe and fenced-in, providing protection against unwanted animal intruders.
On Balule Nature Reserve you can not go on game drives with your own car, but Game Drives ( 3 hours price on request ), with our qualified nature guides, can be booked in advance, according to your plans.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sabine (the owner) a message.

If Sabine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
