Ripple Cottage is a stone built under dwelling cottage. Peaceful Location And Only One Minute Walk from the center of Holmfirth.

The spacious main bedroom with open beams consists of a king size bed (converts to two singles if required), wardrobe and dressing table, also hairdryer is available. Bathroom with WC, Bath and overhead Shower and Basin. The utility room also includes washing machine and airer rack for drying clothes plus Iron with ironing board. The kitchen is well appointed and includes all mod cons, plus dishwasher. A comfortable lounge with sofa bed (opening to a small double bed) and a dining table, Large 42" , LCD, Free Sat box, DVD Player. A great feature of this property is its location. Based in the center of Holmfirth but tucked away. You can sit on the bistro table outside with a brew listening to the river. Holmfirth mostly consists of stone-built cottages nestled in the Pennine hills. The Peak District National Park around Holme Moss is 4 miles (6.4 km) to the south of the town. Holmfirth was once a center for pioneering film-making by Bamforth & Co.More but mostly it has become well known as the location of the comedy Last of the Summer Wine.

Why can't I call Kathy (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kathy (the owner) a message.

If Kathy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
