This redland 1,200 sq. Ft. concrete block guest house sits on 5 acres of tropical fruit trees including avocado, mango, ciruela, carambola (star fruit), limes, lychee, longan, allspice and others. It is located in a very desirable area of the Redland, just a few miles north of downtown Homestead and just 20 minutes from Everglades National Park or Biscayne National Park and two marinas where you can launch your boat. Key Largo is 40 mn. The Redland Fruit and Spice Park is 1/4 mile away. Monkey Jungle is 3 miles away. The house is totally furnished with the highest quality of materials including: pillow-top mattresses, down pillows, down comforters, solid wood furniture and beds, mahogany nightstands and dresser, granite top nightstands and dresser, designer mirrors, granite kitchen, brand new solid wood cabinets, all stainless dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer/dryer, 6 new ceiling fans, eleven chairs with leather seats, large pantry, Italian leather (natuzzi) sofa and love seat, plantation polywood shutters throughout the house on all windows (interior), hurricane accordian shutters on all windows (exterior), large closets, several lamps with electrical outlets in their bases for easily charging devices and much more. There is a master bedroom (sleeps 2) with a king bed and another bedroom (sleeps 4) with a full-size bed and two twin beds. A 7th person could sleep on the sofa or could request the use of an air mattress. Extra bedding would be provided. There is a large 50" LCD TV with Apple Box in the living room and there are two 32" LED SMART tvs (one in each bedroom). The master bathroom has a tub/shower. The hall bathroom has a shower. Both showers have frameless glass sliding doors. There is an electronic gated entry and large concrete driveway leading to both the front door and back door of this guest house. The back patio area is very large and will accommodate multiple vehicles, a boat, an RV, campers, etc... Water is provided via separate well to the guest house. Electricity is not included in the rental price and is deducted from the damage deposit following check-out. Electricity runs $7 - $8 a day in the summer and probably is closer to $3 a day in the wintertime. There is a $50 cleaning fee and required taxes will be charged according to state of fl and Miami-Dade law. The home has air-conditioning. A 17.5 Alumacraft canoe and a 12' aluminum john boat are available for rent. Tropical fruit from the property is provided for guests when in season. Most fruits are in season from May through September, tapering off after September although some are still available. Netflix is provided for at no charge as well as high-speed cable internet, which is hard-wired directly to the house. You just need to connect to the router. Two sets of linens and towels are provided for stays of 5 nights or more. There is no maid service or laundry service. There is a large sink with hot/cold water on the patio out back with a separate set of hot/cold valves for washing and rinsing dive gear, snorkel gear, vehicles, boats, fishing equipment, etc... You may also clean your fish. A campfire pit with cooking grate is available and firewood may also be available, depending on the time of year. Absolutely no pets and not negotiable. We want to be able to cater to guests with allergies to pets. This place truly is spectacular.

We've found that we rarely see our guests due to the location of the guest house in the back of the property and that allows for privacy. However, we are just a moment away if ever needed! How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Wayne (the owner) a message.

If Wayne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
