Very Good

“Home from Home”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2018

Situated on the edge of the village, there are beautiful views all around the cottage. The cottage itself is spacious, kiddy friendly and extremely well equipped with lots of essential extras that made it 'home from home'. Settling in with two very young children was very easy. The fresh milk and home-made biscuits were well received too - thank you. The owners are friendly, helpful and welcoming, with key collection easy as they live next door at the tea room. The cottage was very clean, towels plentiful and soft, and the beds were comfy. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Response from the owner So glad you enjoyed your stay in the cottage Heather

“Lovely cottage , loads of space inside”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2017

We stayed in blind beck with our three boys aged 11,8 and 7.We were pleasantly surprised how much space was in the cottage , the views were also spectacular. We were made to fee very welcome and the cottage had everything you needed for a cosy stay. Lots of great walks locally and 2 pubs also in the village. We went to skipton for the day which was about 45 mins away , the boys really enjoyed looking round the castle and a canal boat trip.

Response from the owner Thank you for kind comments Heather

“Lovely cottage and perfect for our stay”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2017

The cottage was easy to find - coming from Settle, just follow the road through Horton, past the train station following the road to the right then the cottage is just up ahead on the right. We stayed as a group of 5 female friends to do the three peaks challenge. The cottage sleeps 5, so 2 of us shared a double bed, 2 had their own rooms and the 5th person opted to use her airbed downstairs (the second double bed could've been shared, it was just our choice). Lots of room for all of us, very comfortable and warm. The start of the 3 peaks is 10 mins walk away which was ideal. Incredibly good value for money, particularly if going as a group as we did. Many thanks to Heather for a lovely stay.

Response from the owner Glad you enjoyed your stay at the cottage Heather
